Drawing 05 At the Liver Sketching Club. This is a drawing of Kate. I drew this on parchment paper with water-soluble pencils. This is the first time I have ever used this type of pencil and I just used them 'dry'. I was afraid to start playing about by working into the drawing with a wet brush! I hope to produce a video demonstration using these pencils in my Studio page. I am not sure, yet, whether I would want to use water with these pencils because I really like the 'look' of the drawing when used dry. This drawing was completed in about two hours.
