Drawing 09 At the Liver Sketching Club. This lady was truely remarkable! Would you believe that she was well into her eighties? She has modelled for art classes for decades, and she always brings a huge bag of fancy draperies to bedeck the area around her! .... and her head adornments - for want of a better word - are something else again! I'm afraid I just didn't even try to include ALL the patterned draperies and all the foliage on her hat! There was a great deal of it! I'm not sure that she does now, but she used to run a stall in a little local Liverpool market, selling - what else? - cloth!
