A Portrait of Alexandra This is one of my attempts at drawing one of our lovely young models who sat for us - bravely, for the first time, at Marie Mairs portrait drawing sessions in Oxton. I am rather frustrated with this drawing as regards capturing a likeness! She looks much older here than she really is. She is only a teenager! I could have done with another half hour on it! She did allow me to take a couple of shots of her with my mobile, bless her, and I am hopeful I'll be able to produce a much better drawing later. I'll add it here - if and when - I am satisfied with it. Whether she'll be able to sit for us again remains only in hope, as she is embarking, as a student, in a course of study. I wish her well.
